Sue Hawkins, the National Coach for the England Netball Squad took time out of her busy schedule to come to Norwich to deliver a workshop for over 60 coaches of all levels from within the East Region. Fresh from England's successful winning streak in the previous week's test series trio against Jamaica, Sue hosted a two and a half hour interesting and informative session on how to coach shooting techniques, defending skills, warm-ups, ball drills, passing skills, feeding shooters, and how pass the ball around the circle edge. Young players from the East Region Talent Development squad helped the evening run smoothly, delighting in being coached by the 'England Coach' and undoubtedly learned some valuable new skills in the process!

Sue has been touring the UK with her coaching workshops to help and inspire coaches from beginner to Level 3 to move forward with their coaching plans. Those of us who travelled from Norfolk to the O2 Arena in London on February 22^nd to see the England Netball Squad live in action in their first test against Jamaica were able to see first hand the results of Sue's coaching techniques, as England beat Jamaica 67-54.
